FAYE ALBA
Director
Faye has always had a natural curiousity about how businesses run. She dreamed of owning a Carvel when she was young. Before starting BarterPays! in 1993, she worked in marketing and design at various newspapers, ad agencies, printers and publishing houses. She started a small wicker accessories company and owned a graphic design/typography agency. Faye has two daughters, and lives at the Jersey Shore with her two Maltese.

KAREN TJON LESCHAK
New Memberships
Karen graduated from St. John's University and worked a corporate career in information systems management at the World Trade Center for many years. She began working for BarterPays! in 1994 as she also actively pursued leadership roles in her church and community, including class mom, soccer mom, hockey mom, PTA Executive Board, and School Advisory Council. She served as President of local chamber of commerce, and in 2005 the mayor proclaimed October 22 to be Karen Leschak Day in Howell Township in recognition of dedication to the business community. She is married to her college sweetheart, and lives in Howell with her two sons and her dogs.

LISA FISCHER
Broker
Lisa wanted to be a peacekeeper since the age of ten when she went to the U.N. on a class trip. She realizes her dream on a daily basis working as a broker at BarterPays! (since 1995). Lisa has been a bridal consultant, a Mary Kay consultant, and worked in retail management. Lisa always makes time for volunteer efforts, including PTA president and Pop Warner executive board. She and her husband live in Howell with their five combined children, two Great Danes, one killer Dachshund, and one cat.

CAROL STRAUSS
Office and Technology Manager
Carol joined BarterPays in 1998 coming from a corporate background in Personnel and Office Management. She enjoys a wide range of interests and now that her daughters are grown is looking forward to doing some traveling. When she was younger she dreamed of being an astronaut or a pilot. She is still seriously considering getting that pilot's license. Carol lives in Toms River, and has two daughters and one grandson

PAT RAGUCCI
Office Support, TradeMart, TradeShow Manager
Pat joined BarterPays! in 1998. She has held jobs in many different occupations, including bill collector, sales, and school bus driver. When she was young she dreamed of opening a diner on a tropical island right on the beach. She has four children and three grandsons, and lives in Howell.
